Danny Ball defended his unbeaten record as he ground out a points win against Chris Jenkinson in Walsall.

Bolton’s Jenkinson was making his first appearance at the Town Hall and looking for an 11th pro win, but after four hard fought rounds it was the Dudley fighter that took the honours with the score cards reading 39-38 in his favour.

Ball, 21, has now taken his record to 4 wins from professional bouts, with two knockouts.
